The Lumens VC-B20U is a USB 3.0 Full HD Video Conferencing Camera. This conference camera features output resolutions up to 1080p, with 60 frames per second. The USB camera has a USB 3.0 video output interface and is equipped with a Sony 1/2.8 inch image sensor and a 5x Zoom. Lumens uses a unique image processing technology that delivers a clear image even in low light or the extreme contrast of brightness to darkness that are found in conferencing rooms, allowing for the user to use this device in variety of less then perfect lighting type applications. This camera will also cover a wide shooting angle and achieves a high-speed, quiet, and precise position with smooth PTZ operations.
The VC-B20U camera uses standard UVC drivers making for a true plug and play operation as there is no need to install additional special USB drivers for a low latency non compressed output through USB 3.0 technology. The camera is easily controlled through the preset Pan, Tilt, Zoom settings by Lumen's USB PTZ camera controller software and supports both Windows and Mac Operating Systems. With the preset technology the users have the ability to choose from up to 128 preset position settings for pan, tilt, zoom, focus, exposure, and white balance modes allowing for more effective and efficient video recording. Control of the device is very simple and user friendly, users can either control the device remotely at any location and equally at high communication speeds via the RS-232 interface. There is also a panoramic 70" horizontal viewing angle that helps users achieve a wider viewing area for their meetings or business presentations.
